Bulletin 08: Extracurricular physical activity and sport opportunities

The 2015 Opportunities for Physical Activity at School Survey asked school administrators about the availability of physical activity and sport opportunities outside of the physical education curriculum, including intramural activities, inter- or between-school activities, and other physical activity outings. This bulletin explores the availability of these extracurricular physical activity and sport opportunities in Canadian schools, and the provision of transportation to these activities.
